DR, Danish Broadcasting Corporation, is the national public service broadcaster in Denmark. DR was established as a radio broadcaster 1st April 1925. TV transmissions started as a regular service in 1951. DR has now 6 national TV channels (2 HD and 4 SD) and 8 radio channels (including DAB/internet only channels). DVB-T started nationwide in 2006 and analogue TV was switched off in 2009.
