Sveriges Television AB is the national public service television broadcaster in Sweden. Two television channels SVT1 and SVT2 are broadcast, together with a teletext service. During 1997 these channels will be made available to Swedish expatriates in Europe in a DVB encrypted format, using satellite for distribution.
