Silicon & Software Systems Ltd. (S3) is an established electronics design company. S3 specializes in System Level Design and Integration in four market areas: Digital Consumer, Wireless Systems, Network Processing and Medical Systems.

The company has been designing solutions for the Digital Consumer market since 1990 and has exposure across the full breadth of the industry ranging from broadcaster to the consumer. In addition to full system solutions, S3 designs ICs and Software applications as well as reference boards and hardware designs for high-volume consumer electronics products.

S3 has a diverse global customer and partner base including leading semiconductor companies, equipment makers and specialist IP providers. S3 participates in key industry bodies setting the direction of this business, including DVB and CableLabs. Approximately 50% of clients are U.S. based with the remainder based in Europe and the Asia/Pacific region. S3 was founded in Dublin, Ireland in 1986 and has operations in five countries: Ireland, U.S., the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic.
