Panasonic AVC Langen Development Centre (PLDC), part of Panasonic Europe Ltd., is located in Langen near Frankfurt/Main and supporting Panasonic's product development for Digital TVs and DVD/Blu-ray recorders for the European market. PLDC is responsible for software development, for SW and product verification/testing, for EU technical market investigation and for monitoring and contributing to European standards. We are focusing on implementation of new technologies (based on DVB-T/S/C) and interactive services. Constant development targets are innovative, user-friendly, energy saving and future proof features of the Panasonic VIErA and DIGA consumer products in Europe.
