Founded nearly 40 yearsago, Irdeto Access is a supplier of content security systems that allow for the efficient management and control of electronic Pay-media operations. Irdeto technology is implemented in more than 60 countries around the world. Irdeto systems are used for encryption and entitlement management in DVB-S, DVB-C and DVB-T environments as well as for IPTV and Mobile Broadcast operations. Irdeto's Digital Conditional Access System is MPEG-2/DVB compliant, and Irdeto continues to work within the DVB project to develop aspects of the DVB family of standards.
