Institut fuer Nachrichtentechnik (Institute for Communications Technology)

The Institute for Communications Technology (IfN) is a research and development organization of Technische Universitaet Braunschweig (TUBS) in Germany. It conducts research in three departments, namely “Technology of the Electronic Media”, “Mobile Communications”, and “Signal Processing”, among other things  on the basis of contracts with many parts of the industry. IfN has contributed to the development of DVB systems since the inception of DVB. In addition, IfN is active in disseminating DVB know-how to third parties through publications and seminars.
