30 DTT channels in Andorra
The Government of Andorra has announced that Portugal's TVI Internacional channel has been added to the local DTT offering, which also includes Portuguese channel, RTP Internacional.
In total, there are around 30 DTT channels in Andorra using five different languages, Catalan, Spanish, French, Portuguese and English.

Analogue Switch Off on September 25th
The principality of Andorra will switch of all its analogue TV services on September 25th at 11.00.
Already, three multiplexes are providing DTT services to viewers with a variety of program services. These services include 3/24, Telecinco, Arte, RTP Internacional, BBC World, ATV, TV3,
RTVE's La 2, TF1, M6, K3, RTVE's La Primera, Antena 3, France 2 and France 3.
A fourth multiplex will be launched in the future, although it is not known what services it will provide.

Three DTT Multiplexes available in Andorra
According to www.monodigital, Andorra now has three multiplexes available to viewers, on UHF channels 28, 42 and 65.
All use 8k with a guard interval of 1/8th and a code rate of 2/3rds.

Andorra, DVB-T multiplex in Operation
The single multiplex on UHF channel 28 covers 100% of population and distributes television programmes from BBC World, RTP Internacional, Tele 5, 3-24(with MHP applications) and ARTE.
The government expects that all analogue services will be available on the digital platform by 2005 and that the final analogue switch off will be in 2008.
